Extruder reversed after installing New Firmware

I finished assembling the printer and it worked OK until I updated the firmware. Since then any attempt to load filament causes the filament to unload. Unloading filament causes it to load and running the first layer setup causes it to unload again. I can see that the extruder motor is running in reverse but not sure what to do. The wires are correct (and it worked fine until I updated the firmware). Can anyone suggest a fix?

Hi Maurice,

first, try reflashing the firmware and using G-code provided in the Prusa driver package.

If it doesn't help, you can use factory reset, however, you then need to repeat the calibration process

Let me know, if it helped ;)

Hi, I managed to figure it out in the end. I had installed the multi-material firmware thinking that since the printer can use a wide range of materials this was the correct one. Once I switched to the standard firmware it worked OK. I would have marked the question dealt with but could not find it until I received an email saying you had answered. The printer is awesome by the way!
