PINDA protector doesn't fit my PINDA - too big

Not sure if there was a change to the PINDA size or not, but my mk2 I just received doesn't fit the PINDA protector that I printed from this site. The protector is too big and slips off - was there a change to the PINDA? If so, do you have an updated PINDA protector that will fit it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi,

did you print directly g-code from Prusa's site, or you sliced the .stl file yourself?

I printed the protector myself now and it fits just right.

Let me know, if it helps ;)

Hi Jakub - I believe Prusa is using a slightly different sized PINDA, it's not a printing or slicing issue, the protector just simply is too big. There are a few folks on thingiverse that have posted a different size but I wanted the "official" Prusa version.

Hi Daniel, can you please measure the size (external diameter) of P.I.N.D.A. and internal radius of the protector? I will compare it with mine to see if they differ ;)

The nut that comes off of the PINDA is 7mm in the middle and 12mm on the outside. I'm pretty sure this isn't the original stock PINDA that was normally included.

Hi Daniel, I just measured my P.I.N.D.A. nut with digital caliper and its dimensions are the same as yours (7,03 mm inside and 12,01 mm outside). I suggest you try to make several copies of protector in the Slic3r and decrease the size to 98%, 96%, ... and see which fits, if the original is falling down.
