P.I.N.D.A. probe light now working

my extruder smashes in to the build plate every time. It was calibrating fine and then when i was trying to get the first layer thickness set, on the second go it rammed in to the build plate. I haven't seen the probe light come on since and the extruder hits the build plate even on the self test. I have disconnected and reconnected the probe.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

There are 3 pinda wires. I have an ohm/volt meter. How can I test to validate PINDA wire is broken? My PINDA light will not go on either.

Hi Robert (@robertkellogg), please check if all pins are correctly seated in the connector. If the fault is somewhere else, please contact our support (info@prusa3d.com).

Hi Taig,

if the light doesn't come on at any time, it might because of two things:

1) Check you are connected all the way in to the correct socket in RAMBO board

2) The cable from PINDA can be broken

In case 1) won't solve your issue, please write an email to info@prusa3d.com, guys from support will assist you with ordering a replacement.
