LCD does not display self test option.

Assembled printer, powered on. get a message that printer has not been calibrated, please follow instructions from manual. Clicking knob get me to a temperature settings display that says printer is ready, and one additional click get me to a menu that has

Info screen

Preheat

No SD Card

Load Filament

Twisting the selection knob does not advance to next choice it only takes be back to calibration message.

I know it needs calibration but, as it is a kit, the self test needs to be preformed from the calibration menu that I am unable to reach for some reason.

Any ideas?

Hi Tom,

selftest is now part of the Calibration menu, @daver1 is right.

Please mark any of these answers as a solution, so the thread gets closed.

Thank you

Switched LCD plugs to every combination, eventually solved the problem. Self test was completed successfully.

I'm having a very similar issue. LCD screen lights up, I get the same menu options as you, and rotation of the knob does not appear to work. SD Card is inserted, but LCD still says "No SD Card". Can you possibly post a picture (or better description) of your cable connections?

Yes, the self test is under calibration menu, however I had ribbon cables installed

incorrectly which resulted in partial functionality.
