Hi Robert,

is this happening during printing G-codes provided in drivers (http://www.prusa3d.com/printable-3d-mode...) or on your own G-codes?

the steper wires are wrong in the instructions. i changed the orientation in the stepper controler box.

It worked fine after that.

I am also having this problem after installing the MM upgrade and trying to print the V2MM Calibration G Code. Please share the answer and correct the instructions please.

For example, red should be on which pin? I will try reversing the pin orientation.

Having the exact same issue trying to calibrate the live z adjust using the V2MMCalibration_PLA file that came with the multi material upgrade, have double checked that all wiring matches the MM manual. Also we upgraded to the newest firmware and are using the newest drivers.

by

Guys, are you running the Multi Material firmware?

by

@jakoob we flashed the MM firmware ver 3.0.12. We had to run the V2MMCalibration_PLA over 5 times before the filament actually fully extruded the V2MMCalibration. If you want to see an example Thomas Sanladerer on youtube had the same exact issue. In the video you can see that the filament actually goes taunt at first then retracts as it should be printing

Hi Issac (@isderf),

just write an email to info@prusa3d.com, my colleagues will respond as soon as possible.

Thanks Jakob. I’m running MM firmware but it seems to be a priming problem, which is similar. I didn’t end up changing pin, I just manually prime the first filament to print. I’ll contact support.
