Thermal Runaway following hot end replacement.
Following an issue with the original hardware (and not being able to get a full Mk2S replacement from vendors) I've had to use an off-brand thermal block, heater and temp sensor.
These appear to have installed well. Self test and calibration print both work well. But when I print another model the temp drops quickly below the 15C threshold for long enough to trigger a Thermal Runaway error and print-stop. I'm using PLA with an initial target temp of 215C.
If I print something with a small enough footprint, the "other layers" temp drops to 210C before the Thermal Runaway triggers and the print continues. After a few minutes the nozzle head goes back up to 210C and completes the print well.
I'm looking for options to address this as any moderately sized print will take too long to lay down the first 2 layers before the heat drop. Or, any options to stop the initial heat drop.
