This guide will show you how to install a stable version of Slic3r Prusa Edition (Slic3r PE) to your Mac with macOS.

Download the latest Prusa drivers package, which includes Slic3r PE here: prusa3d.com/drivers

Extract the package to your drive and open it in Finder.

Grab Slic3r icon and drag it to the Applications, this will allow you easier launch for future.

Open Applications and launch Slic3r PE.

If this is your first install of Slic3r PE, the settings for Prusa printers will be not present. You need to import them first.

From the top menu click File -> Load Config Bundle

Locate the extracted drivers package and select the settings (.ini file), which suits your printer and click Open.

After you click on Open to import settings, a successful import will be indicated on the screen.

You can also check if your printer appeared in the right column.
