Updating PrusaPrint / OctoPrint

Hi Original Prusa masters.

I'm printing on the MK3 with the PrusaPrint version of Octoprint successfully installed.

I was wondering - I am getting an update notification in Octoprint. If I choose to update it through the software, will this break my PrusaPrint version build or mess up any features? Or is it better to wait for an updated PrusaPrint itself and ignore the Octoprint auto-update messages?

Thank you for your time and help.

Print on.

Hi Andy,

it should be possible to update without losing the settings. However, I need to confirm this and the info will be included in the article about OctoPrint/PrusaPrint.

Comments:

Can we get a URL to this "PrusaPrint version of OctoPrint"?

It's not mentioned anywhere on either the Prusa3D downloads page (https://www.prusa3d.com/drivers/) or on http://octoprint.org, and searching through these forums shows nothing either.

Is it downloadable from somewhere, or do we have to run our own build from the GitHub fork?

If so, can someone post the actions they took to build and install it?
