The bondtech hobbled gears are no longer gripping the filament

I have had my Mk3 since November 2017 and has to date performed superbly. Recently i have been doing a lot of filament changes (Colours - all PLA) and all fine until now. The extruder now under extrudes because the bondtech no longer grip the the filament, i can easily pull out the filament while extruding . I have checked to see if the grub screw has come loose on the motor shaft, seems fine. I have tightened the idler screws to their tightest and still i can pull the filament out when hot.

Any help will be much apprieciated

I have found the fault and after almost 5 months the idler is failing. The holes where the bondtech geared idler is seated have become widened through use. I am lucky that i have a MK2 with MMU to print a new one. My advice is to make sure to have a spare printed.
