X Axis Part 3

I am unable to get the first linear bearing all the way in to be in line with the surface end. Are there tips on a way to push that bearing in far enough?

Initially I tried to push the first one through to the end by inserting the second one before realizing that there is supposed to be a space between them. Now I have one piece where the bearings are touching one another and I am not sure how to get one out or push the first all the way to the end.

Ending up finding this under the step comments

"Second that, you can only insert the bearing from the bottom side. I used one of the hex keys to help the gap staying opened to insert and rotate them."

On top of this I used a larger rounded hex tool that I could fit into the slot to push the bearings while the gap was held open.
