z-axis no power on right hand motor

During self test axis homing, there is no power to the right-hand z-axis (next to the PSU) The connection at the RAMBo appears to be good. How can I check for damaged wire, and how do you remove the plug from the board?

The left hand (RAMBo side) z-motor will move until it gets too far out of alignment with the other one, and if I try to turn the left hand one manually with power on there is resistance, none on the right hand side.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hello Jeff,

Please swap Z motor connections on the board, left motor into the right socket and vice versa, then press and hold the knob button until you see move Z screen on the LCD, see if the right motor is still not working. If possible, record a video of this and contact us via e-mail to or directly on our 24/7 livechat, so that one of our agents can arrange for an appropriate warranty replacement to be shipped to you. You can see the connections schematic below.

I did that, no power to the left-hand motor. Maybe the board is bad? I could not find the live chat - can you post a link? I uploaded a video yesterday, were you able to view it?

new board arrived today - thank you!
