M10 threaded rods not fitting the I3 frame

I just bought the new i3 MK2S kit and started assembly.

However I found that my M10 threaded rods (of the Y-axis) are so thick so they cannot be inserted in the holes of the frame. I wondered whether it should be M8 in those holes because it seems fit well, but I found that it should M10, that is the thicker side. I suspect that the i3 frame has narrower holes by mistake. Any of you have a similar problem?

Added a photo and comment: I have measured the dimensions: while the thread has the diameter 8mm, the holes have only width 7.5mm.

I have a similar problem with my right x axis threaded rod. It's like the rod is too thick for about 5cms only in the middle. I've sent a msg to the company I'm waiting to hear back from them.
