Does Simplify3D support the multi-material upgrade?

Simplify3D has great multi-material support for printers with multiple extruders, producing great output with a very simple workflow. Can S3D be configured to support Prusa's Multi-Material upgrade?

If not, are there plans for Prusa and S3D to work together to add support for the MM upgrade to S3D?

I need this question answered as well. You can't even position models in Slic3r. And no moving very imprecisely by dragging is not moving. To perfectly align 4 models you need to be able to enter the X Y and Z position in millimeters to at least 10 micron positional accuracy in all 3 axis.

The perfect solution would be to just release a simplify3d profile for the MM mod and a post processor. Or maybe make Slic3r have a competent feature set such as positioning and custom support placement.

As far as I know, the current version of S3D does not support Original Prusa i3 MK2 Multi Material printer, but according to their recent Tweet, they are working on new software version, which might support it.

We are now supporting Multi Material print via Slic3r Prusa Edition and if there is any update, Josef will definitely share it with you guys on

If you manage to slice Multi Material print in a different software, be sure to use post processor to include Wipe tower.

FYI, S3D does a great job with wipe towers and shells.
