Y-Axis endstop not triggered - Belt holder hitting motor pulley

Hello everyone

I started building my MK2S today and everything went well until I installed the Y axis belt...

Basically the Belt-Holder is hitting the motor pulley before being able to hit the endstop, by a few mm, preventing the endstop microswitch being triggered (as seen in the pic below - the space between the belt holder and the switch is about 1mm even if it appears to be less in the pic).

Besides gluing something to the belt holder at the endstop trigger point (because I cannot print a replacement belt holder yet), is there something that I could do?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

FYI, I very carefully filed the belt holder on the two contact points with the pulley and now the endstop is triggedred

Hi Remi,

your Y-belt-holder must be rotated 180° (you are hitting the endstop with an opposite end).

See this step: 2. Y-axis assembly
