Why is the autohome position misleading ? With Z-axis correction put to zero? The home position should be the base. Every movement in Z direction should be related to this position. And in the home- position it is easier to measure.

Hi Marcel, before I answered I've discussed this with our developers. The printer autohome position is ok for X and Y, but in case of Z, the system relies on correct position of the PINDA probe, but if it is slightly up/down from the optimal position, the system won't work properly and you need to adjust its height manually using "Live adjust Z". That is why measuring the distance between nozzle and heatbed before this adjustment won't give any usable number.

Hi Marcel,

the distance between nozzle and heatbed during autohome might be misleading. I recommend calibrating the height using the V2 calibration pattern, which is included in the Wizard (see Menu -> Calibration -> Wizard).

Where is the wizard? I'm not seeing it in my options. I'm on 3.0.12

Hi John (@obrien247), the Wizard was introduced starting 3.1.0 please download it from here https://www.prusa3d.com/drivers/#firmwar... and upgrade your printer.

Hey Jakub, it was my mistake on that issue. I downloaded the right one but when I went to load the firmware I mistook the previous download with it as the other was still zipped. All good now.

Hi John, great news! Enjoy your printer :)
