    • There is a new design of the extruder parts R3, make sure you print the correct design!!!

    • Before we start disassembly, you need to print all your parts. For the MK2.5 there are two bundles to print:

    • Extruder bundle: entire extruder was redesigned to bring advanced features of the Original Prusa i3 MK3 to your MK2.5. These parts must be printed in black color because of the sensitivity of the filament sensor.

    • RAMBo cover bundle: the casing for the RAMBo board is redesigned for easier assembly and better cable protection.

    • All parts must be printed from PETG or similar material (ABS, etc.). G-codes are available on our website: prusa3d.com/prusa-i3-printable-parts

    • For printing individual parts it is recommended to use Slic3r PE or PrusaControl with 0.2 mm layer height, GRID infill at 20%, no supports!

    • Fan-nozzle must be printed from ABS only!!! This part is included in the upgrade package.

    • The pictures might not include all the parts. Please use the official G-codes or parts list from the GitHub.

Hello.

In the STL package you are missing the heatbed cover :)

John Doe - Reply

Hi John, unzip the downloaded package and the heatbed-cable-cover is in the “rambo cover” folder.

Jakub Dolezal -

Expanding my “printed-parts” directory, I have 31 different parts.

I have to print all these parts?

And how do I identify

- “Extruder Bundle” parts

- “Rambo Cover Bundle” parts

- all the other parts

So that I can use the proper PET (and color)

There are no sub-directories.

Allan Albrecht - Reply

I have identified the parts by referring back to the original assembly manual.

Hi Allan,

if you have a look at the this page (https://www.prusa3d.com/prusa-i3-printab...) there is a MK2S to MK2.5 upgrade bundle. The zip file contains Extruder and RAMBo cover folders with STL files.
