Hi, when I download and extract the latest Prusa driver package (for Prusa MK2s), I’m missing the .ini files, so I can’t install the presets.

Can anyone help me? It’s very frustrating that I can’t use my printer untill I’ve updated it with the latest firmware, which apparently I am forced to do via Slic3r, which makes it more frustrating because I can’t even install Slic3r correctly…

Hi,

just install (copy) the Slic3r PE to your Mac from the latest drivers package. The ini files are now built in and on the first start you should be greeted by a configuration assistant, if not click from the menu “Configuration -> Configuration Assistant”. Firmware updater is in the Slic3r PE and works regardless the imported profiles, guide is here: Upgrading the firmware v1.4

Starting Slic3r PE 1.40.0 the printer profiles are built in and you should be greeted with a configuration wizard.
