Same here. Nice to point to set the wires on the power supply side. It is the 4th time the hotend fan wires break. 3 with MK2 ansd 1 with MK2S. Hope that time it will last.
Yes. But I adjusted as it sounds better to get good alignment.
Nice reminder. I wasn’t aware about that as I bought a fully assembled printer. Mine was not perfectly parallel then I removed the 1.5mm difference between the the two sides. To know what side would be better to adjust, I found that: 2. Y-axis assembly. Then I adjusted the side which was off the 100mm target. Could be interesting to highlight that.
Nothing on my X-carriage. I’m glad I made a mark on the bottom of my carriage before unmounting. Just some professional habits. but i wonder why it can’t be upside down as it seems very symmetrical (rear/front).
My holes diameter seem already 3.1mm. I removed only some coating with the provided 3.1 bit. I’m not sure if it is a required step for everybody.
The screw was so much tighten on the pulley that I destroyed the hex. I had to drill the screw to remove it, drill an other hole and tap it to M3. Cut an M3 screw to fit in place on the pulley as I didn't have a headless M3 screw.
It was not possible to tighten the PINDA in my case. The hole is too large for the PINDA, I had to add some PTFE tape around the PINDA before inserting him in the hole and then tighten. And as I have done many tries and had to tighten the screws a lot, the bottom nut should have become loose in its place.
