I was full of praises until the very end. Who thought it would be good idea to just jam the support filament into the hole on the extruder cover? That is so feeble. I’m going to need to rework that so it actually can support something.
I’m in a bit of a fix. I printed the required parts and disassembled my machine and began the reassembly process. I got to the point where the zip-ties are to be reinserted. I then discovered that the x-carriage channels for the zip-ties did not go through so the zip-ties could not be fully inserted. Any ideas how I can clear out these semi-circular channels?
I had my doubts about the effectiveness of the finger drill but it worked like a charm and much quieter than my power drill.
Step 10 was a little confusing at first but I got it figured out.
I am a liitle confused. OK, I'm a lot confused. In step 3 above the PSU-Y part is not shown (it is in the hardcopy manual). Unfortunately the phots in the hard copy do not do any favors to my old eyes. The photo above does not show the PSU-Y part at all! When I attempt the union of the PSU to the frame, the foot of the PSU trys to inhabit the same space as the PSU-Y part. Where have I gone astray? HELP!
